NASA tests the Orion module’s launch abort system

NASA has conducted a full-up launch abort test for the Orion capsules designed to carry astronauts to the moon. The crew capsule was empty for Tuesday morning’s demo at Cape Canaveral. Barely a minute after liftoff, the abort motor fired, pulling the capsule from the booster six miles up. NASA called the test successful.

Good...now if only they can get the SLS built then NASA will be in business again...at least until the SpaceX Starship makes SLS obsolete.
