Julián Castro, Beto O’Rourke back Nike

Two Democratic hopefuls have expressed their support for Nike after the sportswear company pulled sneakers featuring the Betsy Ross-designed American flag ahead of the Fourth of July holiday. Former HUD Secretary Julián Castro said he was ’glad to see’ Nike remove the shoes from the shelves. Former Texas congressman Beto O’Rourke also approved of Nike’s decision.

Julian y Beto, congratulations -- against long odds you two have found a way to make me care even less about your so-called presidential campaigns.

Did they at least announce their support in Spanish?

I wonder how much $$$ Nike lost on this PR stunt.

Why would you want to put the American flag on your shoes? To me it's the equivalent of letting the flag hit the ground, or worse, stepping on it repetitively. You would think that Kaepercuck would prefer Nike take the "white oppressors" money while they unknowingly and pridefully disrespect themselves with every step. Think of what you're really doing.
