California becomes first state to ban hairstyle discrimination

California has become the first state to ban discrimination against people for wearing hairstyles such as braids, twists and locks. The new law makes California the first state to explicitly say that hairstyles are associated with race and therefore protected against discrimination. The new law will take effect from 1 January.

protects from what? shampoo? fire? this is the most nothing law ever passed in a state who's homeless population surpasses the illegal vote count, each surpassing the population of other states, neither representing a multiple of California State Senate's collective brain cell count, and don't even get me started on the cases of shit and vomit in the streets
