A legal battle between the ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and his wealthy estranged wife is leading toward a showdown in a London courtroom later this month. Princess Haya, is the daughter of late King Hussein of Jordan and an accomplished Olympic equestrian on friendly terms with horse aficionado Queen Elizabeth II. The family division court case is scheduled on July 30.

So they THINK she's in the UK, and she's fleeing from an insanely powerful rich guy? That's not convincing... Having that much money may be nice, but being considered property probably sucks.

I understand her. If you as a mother have to see how one of your husband's children is treated for just trying to be independent, then you get nervous for your own and your childrens safety. She is doing the best she can in her situation.
