Sudan’s opposing forces reach new agreement to work together

Sudan’s military leaders will share power with opposition alliance as per a new agreement before holding elections, mediators say. The two sides agreed to rotate control of the sovereign council - the top tier of power where both want a majority. They have also pledged to form an independent technocratic government and to investigate the violence of recent weeks, the African Union (AU) said.
