Amash left party, not hopes for Presidency

Rep. Justin Amash, a vocal critic of President Trump who left the GOP last week, said Sunday he’s not ruling out a presidential run. Amash told a CNN reporter he would consider running for President as an independent. He had been the only member of the GOP to call for impeachment proceedings against President Trump.

I think he's been watching too much Designated Survivor. Amash is no Keifer Sutherland.

Amash not ruling out "Resist Drumpf" book deal. There, I fixed it.

I can agree with Amesh. The GOP is broken, same as the Dems. Seems like the cores of both parties have a hard time hearing the public over their own cheers.

Running as a third-party candidate is a nonstarter unless he is a billionaire or is running as a Libertarian – – he cannot get on the ballot in most states without a massive amount of nonstop work by supporters to force his name on, and even then he will need millions for the lawsuits in each state. When Nader ran he was sued by the Democrats in practically every state to try to keep him off the ballot after 2000.

A-ha! That's why he's not a RHINO any more yet didn't flip to democrat. He wants to capitalize on all the insanity about everything such as full term abortion, Antifa violent assaults, open borders, with Democrats that don't want to be leftist socialist and then Conservative never-Trumpets that don't want to be leftists/socialists. . He thinks it's time for a third party! 🤡

The title made me think an Amish person was running for president and I was like how? What is the platform; a new barn and horse for everyone?

He can gain a share of the Tea Party voters as a founding member and one who didn't sell out to corp America, it will be very easy to grab those Tea Party voters by running against Trump's swamp. Won't win but he can pull enough votes to cause Trump to lose, just like Perot did to HW.
