DOJ says new legal team will take over census case

The DOJ has said that a new team of Civil Division lawyers will take over handling 2020 census-related cases. Spokeswoman Kerri Kupec did not give a reason for the change, but sources said the new team would be a mix of career and political appointees.

The reason for the change is that the original "team" was sandbagged by their "leader, Donald Trump. When lawyers have to admit they didn't know that what they said to the judge in earlier proceedings was a lie and had no idea what the government's position was, then all credibility was lost. When the judge says "I don't think you speak for your client.", that means Get a new team that does. Another Trump fuc*up.
