Trump admin can legally add citizenship question to census, says Barr

AG William Barr said Monday that he believes the Trump administration can legally add a citizenship question to the 2020 census. ’I agree with him that the Supreme Court decision was wrong’, said Barr. Barr, however, declined to provide further details to the wire service on how the question will be added to the census.

Supreme court didn't say the question itself was a problem. They just want a better legal justification for adding it.

Wow! So now critics are claiming that simply talking about the citizenship question on the national scale is enough to make the census inaccurate because it scares illegal immigrants from filling it out.

If Barr defies SCOTUS there goes his supposed control of the Supreme Court. Judges really hate defiance and belittling their power.

Of course Barr would say that. He acts like Trump's personal lawyer.

Well duh. It's already been on every census in history save one. It is overwhelmingly obvious that this question is important and considered to be a very common census question.
