Vatican lifts accused archbishop’s immunity

The Vatican has lifted the diplomatic immunity of its envoy in France, the French foreign ministry said on Monday. This opens the way for Archbishop Luigi Ventura to be questioned by prosecutors over accusations of sexual molestation. Because of his diplomatic immunity, prosecutors have so far been unable to question Ventura about the allegations.

Sorry, no one from the Vatican should ever have diplomatic immunity. They aren’t diplomats. They are religious zealots and apparently love covering up sex crimes against children. Gross old men.
