Republican candidate denies interview request of a female journalist

Robert Foster, a Republican candidate for Mississippi and his campaign office didn’t want to risk the optics of a woman travelling alone with him, even if she is a reporter. Journalist Larrison Campbell’s request for an interview with the candidate was denied unless she was accompanied by a male.

This is a great example of how important framing is. "GOP candidate, fearing smears of an affair denies a female journalist access" "Because she's a woman" on its own is a lie of omission.

I respect his choice in the matter. "Journalists" and the "news" are mostly looking for a juicy story, true or not. This is not a new thing he is doing. He has followed this rule. He wants to make sure no story could ever be made that he is, was, or will be cheating on his wife. Very smart man if I do say so. *I am a woman, not a man, and this is the smart thing for him to do to make sure the "media" doesn't try to throw his name on the mud and say he is a cheater.

Solve this problem by having a Republican woman n a Democrat man sit in. Then you have your bases covered. Or sit in an office cubicle with others around. That's the game you have to play these days.

Sounds like a Muslim, making a woman be accompanied by a man, next he will make the women wear conservative dresses that cover their entire body.

Haha first it was "reverse racism" now its "reverse sexism". I wonder why a large group of people started to develop such a victim mentality. Was it after the first black president or was it when woman started to empower themselves?

He only has to worry about a #MeToo moment if he’s going to do anything w/o consent. Insecurity is so sad...

I think Billy Graham was the first person I heard about who wouldn't be alone with a woman without his wife present . I have heard that they teach that at various schools for pastors.. The politician said it also was for religious reasons..
