Indonesia frees Canadian convicted in child sex case

Indonesia has granted clemency to a Canadian teacher convicted of sexually abusing students. Neil Bantleman and Indonesian teaching assistant Ferdinand Tjiong were convicted in 2014 on charges of abusing kindergarten students. The pair have always maintained their innocence. The case has been criticized by Canada and the US for lack of transparency.
