Tropical storm affects Louisiana coast

Tropical storm Barry washes along Louisiana coast on Saturday, flooding highways, forcing people to scramble to rooftops and damaging the levees and pumps bolstered after Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans in 2005. It peaked to a Category 1 hurricane warning briefly and then weakened to a tropical storm.

I live in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Light rains right now and stronger winds are picking up. Mississippi River is higher than usual but that happens after more than usual rain in the North. Most stores are are sold out of important things already as most people in BR stay at home and wait it out.
