India’s second mission to moon postponed

The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) was going to launch India’s mission to the unexplored regions of the Moon named Chandrayaan 2. But it was postponed due to a technical glitch 56 minutes before the launch citing precautionary measures. ISRO did not provide additional details and said the revised launch date will be announced later.

They should have outsourced it to SpaceX, bet it would have cost less and had no delays!

They should put funding towards toilets and streetsweepers instead.

I'm sorry, but when a nation has hundreds of million in poverty and recieves billions in aid from other nations why does India have a space program? I can certainly appreciate their cost saving efforts which are pretty remarkable, but if you're playing the space game, it's always going to be expensive. All I ask is how does this benefit the nation now?
