Domino’s 2Q sales fall short as delivery services bite

Domino’s Pizza said aggressive discounting by third-party delivery services like DoorDash is hurting its U.S. sales. U.S. sales at stores open at least a year rose 3 per cent in the second quarter. That was below analysts’ forecast of 4.5 per cent. Domino’s shares fell 8.2 per cent in afternoon trading Tuesday.
