US sanctions Myanmar generals over mass killings of Rohingya

Myanmar’s military chief and three top generals have been sanctioned by the Trump administration on Wednesday over their roles in crimes carried out against the country’s Rohingya Muslim minority. All of the officials and their immediate family are barred from traveling to the U.S. in any capacity.

I'm sure far left will find something bad about Trump's decisions on this. Or they won't say anything.

Such dishonor, treating heroes of humanity like this....

the buddhists in myanmar only act violently towards the muslims because of the simple fact that the muslim minority there does not want to integrate and instead they have caused nothing but problems for the majority. The treatment those muslims are experiencing is 100% deserved and until muslims stop being violent towards non-muslims this treatment will never end amd it'll always be deserved.

this wouldn't be news if it was the other way around

Get invaded by muslims, defend your nation, get sanctioned. What a joke.

Yes finally sanctions for a nation committing religious genocide.

From what I've heard of the Rohingyans and their treatment, this all seems like a good move. To my knowledge, they weren't starting anything with the locals like the Diobandi do to the UK and they're extremely small in number. Of course, everything the #GodEmperor does is bad in the eyes of the left and even Omar will ignore this or condemn him.

Good move Washington, although the UN Rapporteur is right, a travel ban to the US alone is window dressing. But if it's the first step to much wider sanctions-a warning shot- ie. Freezing assets (given the hegemony of the $) which really will hit them where it hurts, then I applaud it.

Again, when using "sanctions" as a verb is giving approval to the action. Sanctions as a noun is showing disapproval.
