Trump says US won’t sell F-35 jets to Turkey

Trump’s recent decision has shook the NATO agreement. Trump said Turkey can no longer be part of a U.S.-led fighter aircraft program because it is buying a Russian air defence system that would aid Russian intelligence. One of NATO’s purpose is to defend against Russian aggression. And as NATO member Turkey buys Russian-made S-400 air defence, it will affect their core purpose.

Good. You can not buy the equipment that is designed to find flaws in the stealth tech of and defeat the F35, having it serviced and made by the state the F35 was also designed to defeat and then also buy the F35 and fly it around that same system. This is not something to be done lightly as Turkey was trusted with American nukes during the cold War. It has been a staunch ally in the past.

Good. If Erdogan wants to be a demi dictator than he can do it without US tech.

Good. Turkey and Saudi Arabia aren't our allies; neither is Isreal. We should not be arming them against us.
