Rand Paul nixes bid to fast-track extension to 9/11 victims compensation fund

Sen. Rand Paul on Wednesday blocked an attempt by Democrats to pass an extension of the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund. Paul objected, pointing to the growing debt and arguing that any new spending should be offset by cuts to other spending. Paul added that if the House bill was brought up for a vote he is planning to offer an amendment.

Rand Paul is a sincere republican patriot. Look how he's saving the country by denying its heroes.
