Toys R Us makes a small comeback with 2 stores

The first two new Toys ’R’ Us stores will open in November as part of a small comeback of the iconic toy chain in the US. Plans include opening a store in The Galleria mall in Houston, Texas, and in Westfield Garden State Plaza in Paramus, New Jersey. The first two locations will be about 6,500 square feet, a fraction of the brand’s former big box stores.

On-line shopping is like cutting off your nose to spite your face. Think long term. B&M have high rent, have to hire and train sales staff. On-line bugger all. Yet the prices are barely better and sometimes worse. People also tend to return less with online. Moan less. So from a business perspective it's great, consumer...not good long term.

The issue with stores is they need to be more organised. Asking some teenage drip where something is is fucking annoying. Plus, how could they know every single toy. They need to develop an app, where one can search and it takes you directly to the shelf. They can do this in a library, why not in shops?

Are they still planning to sell the exact same things Target and Walmart do but for only 20% more like before? Yeah, that'll work out......for Target and Walmart.
