Boeing to take a $4.9 billion charge over grounded jet

Boeing said on Thursday it would take an after-tax charge of $4.9 billion in the second quarter on estimated disruptions from the prolonged grounding of its 737 MAX passenger jets. The charge is attributed to ’potential concessions and other considerations to customers’, and the impact of continued lower production.

CEO should be tried for murder for each person killed in these crashes. They knew the issue and they knew pilots needed training. But, the hid it to save themselves and the airlines money.
