Puerto Rico governor rejects calls to resign

Puerto Rico’s governor on Monday continued to reject calls for his resignation over a profane, vulgar and homophobic chat he participated in with close advisors. A leaked chat showed Gov. Ricardo Rosselló and some of his aides use abusive and hateful language for former NYC Council Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito. The scandal has already claimed the jobs of two top aides to Gov. Rosselló.
