FTC expected to say Facebook misled users about privacy

The US DOJ has opened a sweeping antitrust investigation on tech companies and whether their platforms have hurt competition, suppressed innovation or otherwise harmed consumers. It said the probe will take into account concerns about social media, search engines and online retail services. This follows months of concern in Congress over the sway of firms like Google, Facebook and Amazon.
