Indonesia pardons woman jailed for recording harassment

A woman sentenced to prison for recording her boss’s sexual harassment has been granted amnesty by the Indonesian parliament. Baiq Maknun had complained of getting lewd phone calls from the headteacher of the school she worked at in 2014. She recorded one of the calls in which the teacher allegedly made sexually explicit and abusive comments. Maknun was jailed for allegedly sharing the tape.
