Nissan to cut 9% of global workforce

Japanese automaker Nissan is cutting 12,500 jobs to cut costs. This is about 9% of its global workforce, and they hope to achieve a turnaround amid tumbling profits. It also plans to cut global production and model lineups by 10% by the end of fiscal 2022.
