North Korea’s economy shrinks most in 21 years

International sanctions and a drought have shrunk North Korea’s economy the most in 21 years, South Korea’s central bank said Friday. North Korea’s GDP in 2018 contracted 4.1 per cent last year, the most since 1997. The country’s international trade fell 48.4 per cent in value during the year.
