Myanmar officials hold repatriation talks with Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh

Over 740,000 Rohingya fled Myanmar in 2017 after a military crackdown. Many of them have been living in squalid conditions in camps in Bangladesh’s southeastern border district of Cox’s Bazar. A top-level Myanmar government delegation began repatriation talks with Rohingya leaders in this refugee camp on Saturday an official said. But the Muslim minority fear their safety if they return home.
