Thousands of Hong Kong civil servants defy government to join protests

Thousands of civil servants joined in the anti-government protests in Hong Kong on Friday for the first time since they started two months ago, defying a warning from the authorities to remain politically neutral. Chanting encouragement, crowds turned out to support the civil servants at their rally on Friday evening which halted traffic on major roads in the heart of the city’s business district.

It is the UK who screwed up. Hong Kong should never have been given to the People's Republic, but to the legitimate government of China in Taiwan.

If an agreement cannot be enforced, it's not worth the paper it's written on. The condition PRC accepted was "one country - two systems". But then the Chinese Commies reneged and now they are busy turning it into another cookie-cutter province.

This is honestly nice to see but I feel as though it is futile when you see what China has coming, the white shirt triads are probably just a snippet of what’s to come

Seeing the Chinese forces amassing on the Hong Kong Border. I doubt this will end well

In all likelihood the Chinese have already deeply infiltrated the protester movement. I feel bad for these people. Their days are numbered.

Communism shows its dirty dirty face again. Wait for the PLA's mass murder to begin. Is the UK going to turn its back on the Patriots of Hong Kong again? Does UK mass immigration only apply to Pakistani Islamic supremacist rape gangs, drug traffickers and ISIS members? Help the Republican's of Hong Kong find a lifeboat out once the Chinese Communist Party begins the slaughter. Help deport the Chinese Communist party spy's from your country and replace the with Patriots for democracy.

While I would love an independent Hong Kong it's not going to happen, the Chinese government has their hearts set on controlling it and I doubt any protests will stop them for long, sadly they never have
