Protesters could push Hong Kong into a ’very dangerous situation’: Authorities

Hong Kong protesters held an inaugural ’People’s Press Conference’ on Tuesday to condemn the government’s ’empty rhetoric’ and instances of alleged police abuse. Hong Kong protesters must not mistake China’s restraint for weakness, China’s Hong Kong affairs office said on Tuesday.

Because the authorities aren't being puppeted by the Chinese Communist Party.. No, that would be silly. Even sillier would be if the PLA posed as violent protesters, so that Chinese military forces could be deployed in a policing action, effectively bringing HK under the control of the CCP. The world sees what is happening, but no government will save HK. China is a mature fascist state, and it will be dealt with as all expansionist empires have been in the past: Too late, and with oceans of blood.

Combined with the economic situation exacerbated by Trump's tariffs maybe something positive will happen in China for a change.

I don't really know much about the subject, but can't Hong Kong seek help in Taiwan, aka The Republic of China? Maybe they would lend a hand seeing they're chinese too? As I said, I don't really know much about east asian political relations, so anyone enlighten me?

Too bad they don't have the right to bear arms. This would have been over a long time ago.

Hey China, Hong Kong seems like it's such a problem. May be you should just give it back to Britain.

It will run until school starts in September. Then after that, there will be a mass round-up and train rides to China. The organ farming never sleeps.
