Israel’s national library to share reunited Kafka archive online

A missing batch of Franz Kafka’s papers have been unveiled by Israel’s national library. This ends a decade of legal wrangling between Israel and Germany over the author’s legacy. Kafka battled with tuberculosis in an Austrian sanatorium, but he was a German-speaking Jew from Prague. He asked his close friend Max Brod to destroy all his letters and writings.
