Taiwan rattled by 6.0 magnitude quake

A magnitude 6.0 earthquake caused minor damage in northeastern Taiwan at 5:28 a.m. on Thursday. The earthquake took place in the Pacific Ocean about 36 km southeast of the city of Yilan. The epicenter was about 22.5 km beneath sea level. No injuries or deaths have been reported.
