According to newly released data by US Customs and Border Protection, a 43% drop in total apprehensions and encounters along the US-Mexico border was seen from May to July. There were nearly 72,000 arrests made in July along the southern border, down about 24% from 94,908 made in June, according to the data.

I am hopeful that this is a trend due to immigration enforcement but it's also possible that it's just the heat. We will have to wait and see.

as soon as Trump gets the go ahead to build the wall, the illegals start to dwindle in numbers.. hmmm, perhaps they knew that border was soon to be filled from end to end with US construction workers and armer security

Good news. Now start going after the businesses hiring illegals. Fine them so hard that they have to close down. Prison terms for those who knowingly hire them.

Here is the issue though. If Trump loses or in four years we get a DNC president, then the numbers will skyrocket. Not just Mexicans or even South Americans mind you, but from everywhere.
