Iranian foreign minister apologizes for leaked comments on Soleimani

Iran’s foreign minister Mohammad Javad Zarif apologized Sunday for recorded comments that were leaked to the public last week. The recordings of Zarif included comments on the late Gen. Soleimani, who was killed by a US drone strike in 2020. Zarif is heard criticizing Soleimani’s separate relations with Russia and for refusing to stop using the national carrier Iran Air for Syrian operations.

Those comments are okay as long as they were made before his death, just criticism for a dude you don't agree with. Not a big deal.
