Buttigieg releases plan aimed at boosting rural economy

Pete Buttigieg unveiled an ambitious plan on Tuesday to transform the economy of rural America, including spending $80 billion to provide high-speed internet. The plan also outlines a $50 billion expenditure over a decade to help farmers combat climate change. Buttigieg also proposes dramatically increasing teacher pay in rural areas.

Democrats hope to buy their way into office. It’s their only hope as they have zero ideas to improve the lives of productive American citizens.

You’re absolutely correct. No workable ideas whatsoever. I’ve never seen a political party sink so low.

NO NO NO NO NO, GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM MY INCOME. I’ve seen what happens when government ties up agriculture. It’s bad enough I have to beg for water like a puppy to its master just so I can water my crops

It's actually funny how little he thinks of Trump voters, like they can just be bought off. I think they'd prefer to be left alone by the feds, but that idea will never penetrate his ivory tower bubble.

Hey look it's a urban elite(ish)... he's trying... telling rural folks he knows best.

Some semi elite politician that thinks food is made in a grocery store is going to "fix" farmers on my dime? At least when I'm taxed into homelessness I won't have to mow!

Feds already have communication funding for rural areas, it is RUS, rural utity service. Telecomms don't use it because of all of the hoops and regs they have to go through. Just like a dem, if this law or program doesn't work, we'll make a more horrific one.

Give me your tac dollars and I will supply you with high speed internet. Good luck affording food

Can he come to our rural communities to lie about this to us, in person? Many want these, long time but more, I don’t trust him at all. If he thinks he can ride his service while he lets Tulsi, an Officer (Major) and post 9/11 Iraq combat vet; get smeared by MSM/MIC daily and do nothing shows to me. He is not a leader nor acts as one and care less any ID here; most here would venture guess care more about corruption these “plans” drive that never get reported when done so very wrong like they usually are here. TLDR: No BZ to PB from me.
