Nepal committee recommends new rules for Everest climbers

A report by a Nepal government committee formed after a bad mountaineering season on Mount Everest has recommended requiring climbers to have scaled peaks higher than 6,500 meters. The report released Wednesday also said climbers must have proper training, possess certificates of good health and insurance and a highly experienced guide.
