13 states file lawsuit over ’public charge’ immigration rule

13 states have filed a lawsuit over the new rule that expands the government’s ability to deny entry or green cards to legal immigrants based on their use of public services like food stamps and Medicaid.

Why is it such a bad thing if we want to benifit from immigration. Immigaration should be a mutual exchange between the person and their new country. We as a country should want them to come here through the legal means, get a job, pay taxes contribuiting to the ecoonomy not leaching off of the government and fellow citizens. The people that we want to come.here are the people that want to work, stand on their two feet without government assistance , and aspire to live the American dream.

Colorado, Delaware, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Michigan, Nevada, Rhode Island, Virginia, Washington all supported this. What do they have in common with each other? They’re BLUE states. Color me shocked!
