FDA proposes new graphic warnings to display on cigarette packs

The FDA proposed new color illustrations that will take up half of the front of cigarette packs and would warn consumers that, along with cancer, smoking causes heart disease, diabetes and impotence. The labels would also appear on tobacco ads. The plan would mark the first change to cigarette warnings in 35 years, or since the US Surgeon General’s warning was mandated in 1984.

Tbf. If America is going to legalize marijuana they should really raise quality standards of tobacco in the US. American Cigarettes are 17 times more likely to give you cancer than foreign alternatives.

It causes head cancer only if you smoke it with your head. It pays to be creative, all I'm saying.

We've had that here in Norway as long as I can remember. Cancerous mouths and throats, limbs from dead people and babies where the mom smoked. I thought it was like that most places.
