Camera video shows Colorado police fatally shooting suspect in back

Body camera footage from two Colorado policemen who shot and killed a black man earlier this month shows the 19-year-old was shot multiple times as he fled officers about to question him about an armed robbery. De’Von Bailey was fatally shot on August 3 by officers. The video does not show Bailey brandishing a weapon at officers. The two officers are on administrative leave.

you can see the victim initially cooperating and everything was going fine, it was only when the cop said he was looking for a gun did the victim bolt. when he did, the cop said stop 3 times before he shot and then found a gun on the victim. he was entirely justified.

Running away in fear equates to arrest, trial and execution to police. Shooting someone in the back, anyone not obviously armed and threatening is murder. It is both paranoid and cowardly. Cops get paid to risk their lives for the greater good of the community. Where's the risk if they just shoot and kill everyone they choose?

Believe it or not if a suspect is believed to be armed and dangerous it is lawful for an officer to fire upon them to prevent more violent crime. Being as I dont have more details I will leave it at that.
