Portland prepares for face off between Rose City Antifa and rally goers

The rally, billed as ’End Domestic Terrorism,’ is aimed at the city’s homegrown anti-fascist group Rose City Antifa, which has clashed in the past with right-wing marchers. The event, which has not been given a permit, is organized by former InfoWars staffer Joe Biggs and supported by Enrique Tarrio, national head of the Proud Boys.

Apparently the legacy media just takes their terms directly from Antifa now; they're calling Antifa "counter-protesters" and the people literally rallying to label Antifa domestic terrorists are "Far right protesters". Nothing to see here, move along.

"During the last rightwing rally in the city, on 29 June, in which the conservative writer Andy Ngo had milkshakes thrown at him and was punched by several masked protesters.." Antifa wore black masks and threw milkshakes at Andy ngo. It's as if the guardian is implying the right wing group hurt Andy ngo...Some news protects/legitimizes domestic terrorism...Promoting division and violence in order to distract from real solutions...and epstein. Potus calling fake news "enemy of people" is gracious.

Good I hope the police smacks the crap out of both sides if things turn sideways cause I'm getting tired of chaos that should have been smothered by the police a long time ago being let happened.

Rose City Antifa warned that the far-right "is planning to invade downtown Portland" on Saturday "to bring their branded political violence to our streets." To bring their branded political violence to our streets? This is the hypocrisy of the left, Antifa “protesters” burn cars, destroy commercial buildings, harass opposite political opponents, conspire in stabbing and injuring people that had different views, bash LGBT people, send death threats, bash innocent people, advocate for terrorism, and continuously label people since they are incapable of making reliable arguments, etc. They practise violence and hate, they are no different from neo-nazis who advocate the murderous ideology of the 1930s. While Antifa advocate communism, a ideology that killed 100 million people. They believe physical violence is ethnically justifiable, and are both morally indistinguishable. Both ideologies should be condemned. Antifa supporters are terrorist and who ever agrees or protects them.

they say the proud boys are far right like they are white supremacists or something. the proud boys are very mixed backgrounds(including Asian, black, Latino) and are not actually very limited political. yet the left calls the fascist for some reason. even though I have never seen a quote or video involving that from them. Biggs is more like pro vet flag etc. the should at least define far right.

America is watching Portland! Hide the garbage cans, newspaper stands, coke machines and anything that a teenager can move into a street or Starbucks window. I hope this costs your Dumbass city tens of millions of dollars!

I just love the topic about "far-right" combined with a picture of far-left in full riot gear...

'Rose City Antifa warned that the far-right "is planning to invade downtown Portland" on Saturday "to bring their branded political violence to our streets." Its goal, the group said, was to have antifa declared a domestic terrorist organization.' My my, Rose City Antifa. I didn't know you were also far right. Isn't "invasion" a far right buzzword according to left leaning reports on the El Paso shooter? As for Wheeler, if you don't want these people coming to your city constantly, how about you arrest the people that are actually causing the violence and institute a no mask law?

Whats the bet any violence comes from the FAR LEFT protestors and the media concentrates on the right because when the left attacks and kills people they pretend to be doing it for the greater good.

Mayor: “They know that if they come here conflict is almost guaranteed.” So there must be something different about Portland that lends itself to conflict? I don't see how that is particularly an indictment of the rally organizers.
