Plane carrying 233 people makes emergency landing near Moscow

A Russian passenger plane has made an emergency landing in a field near the capital Moscow after hitting a flock of birds. The Ural Airlines’ Airbus 321, with 233 people on board, struck a flock of gulls after take-off, disrupting its engines and forcing the pilots to land. Some passengers were sent to hospital with minor injuries.
