Sudanese protestors sign power sharing agreement with ruling party

Following negotiations between the military and protest leaders, a final power-sharing agreement was signed between Sudan’s pro-democracy movement and the ruling military council on Saturday. The signing took place in Khartoum and paves the way for a transition to civilian-led government following the military overthrow of President Omar al-Bashir in April.
