Justice Department: Trump’s decision to end DACA was lawful

The Justice Department submitted a legal brief to the Supreme Court Monday that stated President Trump acted lawfully when he decided to end the Obama-era immigration program known as DACA in September of 2017, according to a new report. The Department of Homeland Security said that DACA is unlawful. The Supreme Court will begin to hear arguments in November. A ruling is expected in 2020.

Ugh... Why is this even a discussion? DACA was an executive order, not an actual law. Even if you think DACA was within President Obama's authority, and that's a dubious assertion, you must accept that by that logic Trump can rescind a previous executive order. Why are judges even talking about this?

I like her sign. it says "no borders, no Nations"... if that is true then why do you want to be in the United States? Isn't it just as good as where you came from? You could just stay where you were since it's all the same right?

“Here to stay” not on my watch. We want Americans in America...how hard is that to understand? Have these people never heard of integration?...or laws??

You have to draw the line somewhere or more Anchor babies are going to be born. Also in regards to the picture: I can't help but wonder if that young woman has been further than Tijuana? Because I am fairly sure if she saw the less touristy places of South America she would scream to go back home. Not trying to be offensive to South Americans, but the crime rate is out of this world in many places.

She should be deported for this obscene sign alone. "No borders, no nations." But you made an extra effort to cross this particular border and invade this nation. Such a respect for laws!

If there are no borders what's the problem with being "deported"? No borders! You're still a citizen of the world!

Look i like DACA in theory, but its shit as it stands. If you came against your will begore you reached the age of 15 sure I dont think you should be deported; you did nothing wrong, the person who brought you here did. While I dont think you should have the ability to become a citizen, I do not believe depoting you is the right thing to do.

Birthright citizenship should be limited to those born to parents here legally if not done away with altogether.
