Yemen’s Houthis down U.S. drone

A U.S. military MQ-9 drone has been shot down in Yemen. The drone was shot down late on Tuesday in Yemen’s Dhamar governate, southeast of the Houthi-controlled capital Sanaa. A Houthi military spokesman was quoted earlier saying that air defenses had brought down a U.S. drone.

Well at least it was only a 20 million dollar drone this time and not a 200 million dollar one.

Is the US at war with Yemen? I ask because if they had a drone over US soil and it was shot down, it would be utterly righteous. But the other way around it's being pitched as bad. Truth is we use drones partly because they are expendable and allow us to invade airspace with no risk to our own people. But they are invading someone else's airspace and often killing people so there's no point in whinging when one gets shot down. To them, it's life or death.
