Two U.S. service members killed in Afghanistan: NATO

New reports confirmed the death of 2 US service members in Afghanistan on Wednesday. A brief statement from the NATO Resolute Support mission said that the service members’ names are being withheld until 24 hours after next of kin are notified, in accordance with Defense Department policy. American military fatalities in Afghanistan this year is now at 14, exceeding the 2018 total.

Look at this comment section. A bunch of anons defending the idea that dying in a war on the other side of the world is a duty. Don't encourage others to do that. Their deaths are your fault if you did. Bravery with the wrong cause is foolishness.

"Two American service members were killed in Afghanistan on Wednesday, bringing the number of U.S. troops killed in Afghanistan to at least 14 in 2019." Literally the last paragraph of the Reuters article. Rest of it was about shit eating diplomats and their ineffectiveness.
