Russia launches life-sized robot into space

Russia has sent a humanoid Russian robot capable of shooting a gun on its first expedition to the International Space Station (ISS) on Thursday. The robot, named Fedor will put its skills to the test over the next two weeks as an assistant aboard the ISS. The Russian bot’s name is short for Final Experimental Demonstration Object Research.
