Rohingya repatriation to Myanmar fails

An attempt to repatriate Rohingya Muslims living in camps in Bangladesh stalled on Thursday after most of the refugee families refused to go back to Myanmar. Last week, the two countries agreed to the return of 3,450 people cleared by Myanmar, of more than 730,000 who fled a military crackdown in Rakhine state in 2017.

So Myanmar gets a whole region cleared of militants and can settle their own people since these people don't want to go back. Sounds like a win for Myanmar.

Yes and strangely enough no Jews wanted to be repatriated back to Nazi Germany in the 30s. Strange that.
