100 pounds of cocaine found in banana shipments at Safeway stores

Cocaine valued at more than $1 million has been found with shipments of bananas at three Safeway grocery stores in Washington state. Other employees found about 51 pounds of cocaine while unloading bananas on August 18 and about 49 pounds of cocaine at the bottom of banana boxes at the Woodinville store. The Drug Enforcement Administration is investigating.
