Brazil deploys troops to fight fires in the Amazon

The Amazon forest has been burning for over 19 days now. Brazilian troops on Saturday were deployed in the Amazon to fight fires that have swept the region and prompted anti-government protests amidst international outcry.

So let me get this right.. he is "far right" so he must be doing it wrong. as a fire fighter, I will never understand why people get so worked up by these kind of event, forests are ment to burn, there is little you can do about it. you protect the people and their property. other than that let it burn, it accually can do a lot of good. such as make it rain, produce bigger crops and at the end of the day, mother nature will do as she pleases

This whole amazon forest thing is being overplayed by the media. Most of the fires are occurring on agricultural land which has already been cleared of vegetation. Fake. News.
