USD is too dominant and could be replaced by digital currency, says BoE Governor

The Governor of the Bank of England, Mark Carney, has put forward the idea of replacing the U.S. dollar with a central bank-issued cryptocurrency. Carney proposed the idea of a Synthetic Hegemonic Currency (SHC) provided by the public sector, ’perhaps through a network of digital currencies’.

Disgusting globalist puppet. Digital currency is far to open to manipulation and fraud. Every few days we here about another 100,000,000 dollar theft of crypto. On top of that we have China as the global leader in the equipment, mining, and therefore value of the most popular crypto to date. So unless it's a very different currency than what is available now I would strongly suggest staying far away from this plan.

Whatever happened to gold? Yea it had some flaws but at least it was a universal standard based on something physical.
