Trump administration plans to open U.S. Consulate in Greenland

A US consulate may soon open in Greenland for the first time in decades. Trump recently showed increased strategic and economic interest in the Danish territory and said he wants to buy it. The US state department said in a letter to Congress that re-establishing a consulate in Nuuk is part of a broader plan to increase the US presence in the arctic.

It makes sense for the US to buy Greenland for all parties.. Denmark can't do as much with it as we can, and Im sure we will pay dearly for it, but it will still be worth it..
