Australia cracks down on foreign interference at university

Pro-Beijing student demonstrators recently clashed with Hong Kong democracy advocates on Australian campuses. With the growing Chinese influence at Australia’s universities, where Chinese students are by far the largest group of foreign students, Australia announced on Wednesday that it has formed a task force to crack down on attempts by foreign governments to meddle in Australian universities.

Well done media, you are only years behind, as usual. The head of of the education union made a statement to the education council last year that they know foreign money funds political activism under the guise of "reasearch programs" and that they wouldnt record or report it to government because they wanted the money. Its disgusting to me to see how hush hush all this coruption is when all of these conversations are on public record.
