Pence defends Bible at VA hospital, derides Obama admin

Vice President Mike Pence took a shot at the Obama administration on Wednesday in his defense of a VA Bible display. Pence made the statement in reference to a lawsuit to remove a Bible that was carried in World War II from a Missing Man Table at a VA hospital in New Hampshire. Pence said the Department of Veterans Affairs under President Trump is not a ’religion-free’ zone.

Seems like some people have entirely too much free time on their hands if they are choosing *this* to get outraged over. Why not do something - anything - that would actually help other human beings, like, I dunno, assisting the elderly with property maintenance or volunteering to work/help children of single parents.

If religion (or anything else) helps someone be more comfortable while staying in a hospital and it doesn't hurt anyone, then why not?
